puppet v8 †

Puppet 8.0.0 - release note
- 変更点他
- "include_legacy_facts=false" 古いfacterが無効になっている
- "strict_variables=true" 構文チェックを厳しくするオプションが有効に変わっている
- 上記オプションは puppet.confに追加するか、puppet コマンド実行時に「--include_legacy_facts」とすれば有効になる

agent/serverのcertの再設定 †

Regenerating certificates in a Puppet deployment

agent側
```
sudo -i puppet ssl clean
```

server側

sudo -i puppetserver ca clean --certname <certname>

あとは再登録

互換性の無い部分 †

facterが独立rpmではなく、puppet-agent rpmの中に入っている
- "sudo -i facter"すると「/etc/facter/facts.d/custom.txt」の中のデータを読んでくれる。なぜsudoが必要なのか不明
- "-p" でload puppet libraryと記載がある

hiera cliが無くなった
- Debugging Hiera
- 代わりに"puppet lookup"が使えそう
